Our team works to create a vibrant network of social enterprises, NGOs, mentors, and investors around 180 DC Consulting in Barcelona. The main goal is to serve small-scale social ventures through the deployment of consulting teams focusing on specific problems, leveraging contacts, developing innovative approaches and an eco-system.
We are constantly engaging with people outside the core team (e.g. professors, other students, other companies, etc.) when feasible. Furthermore, the Innovation Factory hopes to work as a synergy engine in connecting potential clients between themselves and building a strong network of socially-conscious organisations in Barcelona.
One of the main additions is the organisation of events aimed at creating a network of social impact ventures and related stakeholders (e.g. mentors and investors). These events will have different formats such as networking initiatives and workshops. In the future, we hope to host fundraising and investment pitch events.
Looking in longer-term strategic plans, Innovation Factory is aiming to achieve a status of being the central facilitator to the communities of 180 DC consulting, universities, and the social impact ecosystem of Barcelona. We are planning to engage our constantly enlarging network to other clients to conduct new projects, workshops, and events.
Case 1: Veggie Karma

Veggie Karma is a Barcelona based start-up that produces artisan, vegan and gluten-free products, respecting both the environment and the animals. Its main product, plant-based cheese, is sold over the internet and partner shops in Barcelona. Veggie Karma goes beyond the standard food producer scope and aims for the highest impact possible along the value chain and on society. Currently, Veggie Karma is redesigning its website to improve its sales funnel and brand building.
Innovation Factory assisted Veggie Karma by taking
an in-depth look at Veggie Karma’s business model as well as the current and future’s websites, and provided recommendations for structure, design and the embedment in the sales funnel to streamline the future customer acquisition and customer journey.

At the heart of Innovation Factory lies the assumption that radical change cannot be achieved alone. For the first event of its kind, the outcome was very successful. We received particularly good feedback for the presentation and led a discussion on impact measurement. Clients have shown a high level of engagement through participative contribution and investment opportunities. The participants recognized an actual network from which they can benefit in the future and thus are highly interested in future events.
